4 calibrated colors are printed: cyan, magenta, yellow and black; which are superimposed on each other to form a very wide spectrum of colors because they are not opaque.

This is a long-standing technique used in screen printing to reproduce full-color images on white backgrounds. Thanks to this technique, we get prints with very little touch.
